ok so i gots a question:

Im an Az guy and when the rare chance to see water comes around usually its in sweeping torrent that would take the jeep with it.

Explain proper water driving. so maybe i have a chance if i ever do get to do this.

second: How well does the jeep keep out water? Does it come through the doors much or what?

I can actually answer that as I've found a fair share of water here that's not torrent. First and formost if in doubt, do not go through it.
Know how deep it is or let someone else go in first.
If you have a stick, do not shift, so make sure you are in a good gear going in. When you depress the clutch it pulls air in, but if there is only waterthere, it will pull that in.
Do not stop if possible. the ground could be soft underneath and you could find yourself in some deep wet clay real fast, which will be almost impossible to get out of.
Water will come in if it's deep enough and you are in it long enough. Short runs through deep water will not have much getting in.
If you have a CAI, take the bypass or if it's not too deep, go slowly. It's not worth the risk of hydrolocking your engine. No snorkel and reagular intake, you still want to be careful, but should be ok in most situations where it's less than 2' deep, just take it easy.
