Some JKFest pics from today
I was planning to camp, but do to the sub-50 degree weather, possible rain, and 15mph winds they were calling for tonight........I decided to drive the hour home to sleep in a warm bed and drive back up to Rausch Creek again tomorrow morning. In the mean time, I thought I would post up a few pics from our group this morning. This was the Newb friendly group, and we ran all greens and one or two blues. This was my first time offroad in my JK, and had a blast. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow........fingers crossed for some sunshine.
Following Chris onto our first real flexing of the day

Line of JKs coming down the hill

Hanging out at the bottom

Heading down one of the smooth sections

Chris snapping some pics while I roll through the bypass

The other Chris flexing nicely

Chris chasing the ice cream truck........er, I mean his Jeep

This was the "What the hell did I get myself into" moment for me today. I was running a stock X model with the factory 225 tires, and pretty much figured I had no business being in anything like this mini rock garden. After a few "heads ups" from the two Chris's over the CB, and about 30 seconds of spotting work, I got through it just fine. A few skidplate scrapes, bangs, and thunks, but never had any real problems.

Awesome day. Thanks to all the guys who answered questions and helped me out today. I can't wait to get back out there tomorrow
