I was actually only a minute or two away from town, i knew if i got stuck someone could be there in just a few minutes. We called my friend who owns the property and he came with an old f150 to pull me out.

scbesse Thats some deep muck! Airing down probably wouldnt even have helped, new tires and a winch coming soon? Were you alone? #1 rule dont go alone!
Well, I'm hoping new tires and lift first.. We'll see what the summer holds.

As stuck as that right rear was, I think it couldda been most any tire and it wouldn't have come out. Because the rest of the Jeep is so capable, you tend to forget about the tires. That's how I got mine stuck......with the same tires.

Kentucky mud.. been there, done that!

That's exactly why I picked up my new tires.

Some of you guys don't realize, it can not rain for a month in Kentucky, and you'd STILL run into mud!

Got sick and tired of those stock slicks and picked up some ProComp Xtreme M/T's.

They make mud their bitch.

Other than in mud I was impressed with how well the SRA's actually did off road, considering how mild a tread pattern they have. There was only once or twice in the 9 months I had them on that I did not make an obstacle where a more agressive tire probably would have made the difference. They didn't like mud but did really well on the rocks. If I hadn't cut one down on a tree stump I would probably still be running them.
