Picture 4 looks like raisins in a mud pie. What fun! Sure glad I didn't have to clean those Jeeps afterwards. Great days can be worth it though.

Powerwasher is definitely the way to go. I have one, its been in the teens for the last 2 weeks here, so no hose out yet.

As to where we were. Its actually a municipal gravel pit / road commission property, that they use to dump gravel, asphalt, and broken up roadway-for what reason I dont know, but it makes for some interesting terrain. and on this particular day, it was raining hard, and 30-40 mph winds. theres a ton of clay and sand in this area, and this place a little of everything. no long trails to ride, but a lot of different terrain to drive on, or over. kinda like a skatepark for your Jeep!

and the open park is exactly what you said a skate park for jeeps, crazy fun!!!
Its directly across the street from Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport, so when we were using the handhelds, we kept hearing the control tower, and grounds crew tapping in. I kept thinking homeland security would storm the mudpits to take us away-that open field in pic #4 is the size of about 4-5 football fields and has a sheer drop off in the distance, about 15-20 feet down=we had to be very, very aware of where we were at all times. all great fun
