Sunday at Southington and My First Wheel-Stand
Hey guys just figured I'd start a thread and show the pictures we took at our local offroad park this past Sunday, at the previously known Jeepskool or the new "Southington Offroad".
Our sunday group was omarf4, Speed2005, Badpunkin, Camaro_Girl, and myself.
We started off the day, doing some small stuff and a few little trails.
Omar on the Steps
Badpunkin on the Steps
http://youtu.be/e34ObF5NNLA After this we bummed around and made it over to The Colorado.
(One side of Blueberry Hill)
The Colorado / Robocon's Last Stand
Here's Camaro_Girl
Back to Omar
Then Omar + Speed had to leave and it was Badpunkin and myself. We planned to do one last obstacle before BP had to go and spent alot of time walking the obstacle known as Blueberry [Hill] #12. I was on the fence about doing this myself, but after spotting BP up the rocks i decided that if i got past a certain rock i would go ahead with it.
Lastly, here is Badpunkin on his way up Blueberry #12
And my run
Needless to say that was pretty much it for the day...
What i said when we left that morning, "Alright we'll go and have a good time but i don't want to do anything crazy.." FAIL.
And the video thanks to Badpunkinette;

Looks like a great time! I always have plans of a nice trail ride but somehow always end up doing something crazy! I guess it is just in a jeepers nature to test the limits!

Yeah... This was actually my first time in jeopardy.. The wheel stand made my girlfriend cry she got so worried because she thought i was going over and down the small cliff to my passenger side. Poor Camaro_Girl..

I know, my wife gets very nervous. At first she is scared and then she tells me: "don't forget you have to drive this thing to work on monday"! Glad you didn't go over, it's amazing how far they will tip before they actually do go over!

Thanks! BP and my girlfriend were my spotters and they did a great job. I know my factory Limited Slip really helped, i could feel it grab after a little bit of spin.

I make no clicky! I feel like a tool always doing this to the videos you post.. Thanks for posting these! I loved wheeling with our group even if it was only for a few hours. I like how your pics in the first video give BB 12 a better angle of the action. From E's video and pics you can't tell the angle we're climbing at.
