The pictures were taken six miles north of Enchanted Rock. Its called Inks Ranch. The largest granite dome on the ranch is actually taller than Enchanted Rock, but not as massive overall. The ranch has several of the granite dooms and several spring fed crushed granite streams. It an incredible place.

Chet - Glad you made it home safe. Is the Jeep fixed, yet? I assume the wheeling was quite different from any thing you would find up north. Good to have met you. I'm glad you found all the pictures over on Jeeptales(dot)com.

Hey Duke...yeah, quite a bit different! I'll make it back again one day - with a little more time to go hiking at Enchanted Rock.

I'm shopping for chromoly axle kits for the front. It's looking like the Alloy replacements. My bumper money savings (and then some!) is going to be redirected.

Sounds like some one got a little heavy on the throttle and did some damage to the front d30!
