Great pics guys... looks like a great time and wish I could have been there. I had other plans though and spent the weekend in upstate PA...

Funny thing is I pass right by RC on the way home and stopped for gas at the exit 104 exxon on Sunday around 515 and saw a bunch of Jeeps there. Probably left-overs, campers, etc. from the tata event?

I'll be there next year!

Default Thank you!

I want to personally say THANK YOU! I was completely overwhelmed with the turnout on Saturday and the support that we received from other groups there as well as the participants in our event. What a great day for us to be with our friends and bask in the warmth that we are doing something that we like and raising awareness at the same time.

I have created the picture that we will send to all the sponsors and will be attached soon. We sold 77 t-shirts, 5 flags and countless numbers of raffle tickets. CONGRATS to all that won!!

Here are some facts about this awful disease and what our funds are doing to help.
* Breast Cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death and a woman is diagnosed with it every two minutes. However, if the disease is caught early enough there is a 96% chance of survival.
* There is a dramatic increase in chances of finding breast cancer in women over 50. It is extremely important that all women over the age of 40 have routine mammograms to ensure that they are not in danger.
* The money that we raised will help support research and education of this horrible disease. There are several sites that are helpful as they provide knowledge about what to do for prevention, next steps if a lump is found and finally how you can help others. Information can be found at the following link http://www.cancer.org/docroot/lrn/lrn_0.asp or Google.com can direct you to other sites with information.

As we go into the planning stages of the next event, please feel free to contact me and let me know what you would like to see for next year. I know top on the list is t-shirts that are not black! I realize now after sitting on one of the fire roads that the color choice was not the best! So we will take that suggestion for the next event.

Thanks again to all who came to the ride and participated in the various events. Looking forward to the 2nd Annual Topless for TATA's day!

Funds are still coming in and we don't have a final count as of yet; however, once we do, I will make sure I post the numbers.

Kind regards,
Chantelle Kern
