Hey i just got stationed in jacksonville nc and am looking for some trails around eastern nc can somebody plz help me out?

 

My neighbor's kid is a corpman stationed down there and he's always tearing stuff up on base, so there may be some stuff you have access to that most of us civilians don't.

Also, if you ever get a long weekend, check out Uwharrie National Forest. It's in western NC (3.5 hours from you, I think), but it's got like 16 miles of very fun trails. Lots of cheap campgrounds nearby, or you can camp trailside for free. I love up in Va Beach (it's 6 hours, one-way) and we're always trying to get down there as much as we can.
