Anyone around know of a few fairly decent trial around the San Onofre area?

 

I wish. I'm going to keep an eye on this thread in case someone knows something I don't. The closest to the north are trails off Ortega Hwy which are not always open. According to Map Quest, Christianitos feeds all the way back to Ortega Hwy but I haven't explored it yet. The trail up by Holy Jim (Trabuco Canyon) is fun and there are several trails that connect to it but again, sometimes closed. Keep in mind these are all easy trails. I don't know of anything in South OC that would even qualify as moderate.

 

hey thanks for the info. I was only down there for a few days. I was hoping to be able to get the jeep dirty! Next time I will look up some trails before I leave.
