Trails in Tennessee
I had the pleasure of wheeling with JKChad this year at windrock. The guy knows the place well and set up a really great weekend of offroading. The place is kind of confusing if you haven't been there, but there are some really beautiful trails with varying degrees of difficulty from dusty roads to stuff way too intense for me. Chad found the right balance of fun and challenging.
There is no air provided at the park, so make sure you have an airsource with you as it it several miles to the closest gas station.

We've been hitting Pickett State Forest about once a month for the past 6 or 7 months, it's a pretty decent place to ride, some of the trails are pretty tight and over grown a bit at the edges but the main trails are pretty clear with bypasses around some of the more challenging stuff, nothing real extreme but enough to keep it interesting. The next trip put that way is going to be on 6/29

It is now between Windrock and Royal Blue. What campground do you recommend in that area or in the Smokies near Gatlinburg? I don't want to stay at Windrock because it is 38 bucks per night, with electricity. I'd like a camp ground with decent showers and electrical. It also can't be a dump like some private campgrounds. There's one in the Smokes with some spots by a mountain stream. I can't remember the name of it, though, but it was beautiful.
I go to windrock just about every weekend. Always looking to ride with some new fellow JK'ers!! All please feel free to PM me anytime!! I usually run blues and if the group is ready and willing, a black or two (mainly just 15, mule and want to hit 3!!)
