I'm headed up to Tray Mountain on Saturday morning to do some wheeling. I know it's late notice but send me a PM if you're headed up there as well.

I wish. One of these days I want to take a long weekend and do some wheeling in Ga. Need to hook up with some people though. That's a long way to go to waste time.

Well my son and I went up the mountain about 11:30 this morning. He did a good job on the camera for me this afternoon. There is tons to do here in the area as well for the whole family. Helen, Georgia is a small little tourist town that looks like it was plucked right out of the middle of Bavaria. There is plenty of great German food and good cold beer!!

Not sure why those last pictures are so blurry. Let's try these.

Very nice. I run Trey Mountain quite often on my motorcycle. Two wheels aren't much good in snow and ice though.

How's the road looking? I haven't been up there in nearly a year. The snow is always fun!

It was pretty good. It looks like a bad storm went through as there are trees broken off and blown over in several spots but they have been cut out of the road.

Beware of the local Bubba's in their POS jacked up trucks. They have no clue how to drive on a Jeep trail and I was nearly hit a few times. They drive way to fast and like to find the smallest mud puddle and dig it out with their tires. They've never heard of "Tread Lightly", and I doubt they could even spell it. I came upon one such truck with a confederate flag hand painted on the hood. He was in the middle of a trail intersection and was just sitting with his rear tires in a mud hole. He just sat there and revved the engine and kept slinging mud everywhere. I also noticed empty bud light cans all along the trail. It was like a redneck Hansel and Gretel type trail of crumbs. Maybe that's how they find their way home at night??
