Default Turkey Bay (LBL) 4-6-12

Turned out to be a beautiful day!!! Despite the rain yesterday, Turkey Bay was pretty much dry other than a few spots here or there. Only three of us showed up, but still had a blast....right up until I took a tree right through the sidewall of the rear tire!! lol

The culprit...front tire hit it and split a long pointy chunk off, which then took out the rear tire!

Oh well, pay to play, right? Luckily i carry a full size spare, so all was good. Dave lost a trackbar bolt towards the end, but we managed to find another bolt that would work enough to get him home. All in all still a great day! Here's a couple more pics...

Looks like a fun place, except for the tire of course! I went backpacking there one time, it was a nice trip.

Man that's too bad about your tire! Looks like you guys had a fun trip anyways! This next weekend 4/13-14-15th a big group of us are all going to Windrock if you and your buddies would like to come along! Some are setting up camp Friday while the rest of us will leave Nashville at 6am on Saturday morning. If you had not been to Windrock gets its awesome and only 2.5 hours or less away!

Just dropped it off this mornin, white 2010 Rubi on 38's. Front is gettin sleeved, gusseted, trussed, RCV shafts, control arm skids all the way around, regeared to 5.13, and new driveshafts I too will be ready to play...definitely envious of that D60 though!!

Ya man I saw it there today while I was at 4wheelparts! I parked right next to it I'm a white 4 door on Toyo 37's your axle is gonna be awesome on e they get it all built up for ya. I chose the RCV shafts for my Dynatrac 44 I had built! They are so badass man you will love them! You have a real nice jeep also and I would like to wheel with another very well built JK very much! Hit me up once you are ready to play man. I have two more weeks before we start building my cage so I'll be down about a month from wheeling. My buddy is doing the work for me and an only work on it on the weekends so it's gonna tKe awhile but will be very worth it when it's all done!
