Not sure if this qualifies as a trail, but sure does as a Tale.
Went to the Wallington Bog&Grog in Wallington NY yesterday. First chance I've had to get the Jeep offroad since I bought it last year.
The Wallington Fire Department has a field behind the engine house where they put this on twice a year. $6 to attend (whether bogging or just watching).
The field has 3 bog runs in it, two deep ones and a shallow S-curve. each ends at a small hill. Plus there is room between the bogs to run for those that are worried about getting stuck.
This is my neighbor's Jeep on one of the "dry" areas between the S-curve and the far side deep bog.

Neighbor again

Me, lined up for the same section he was just on

Me getting "down & dirty" int he S-curve. The mud was about a foot-and-a-half deep through there

At the end of the S-curve was a small hill, then another short mud pit

On the near side, I avoided the truck-swallowing bog, but managed to hit the hill at the end.

My neighbor again (looks like he's dragging half the field with him)

Neighbor again. The magic smoke didn't leak out, that's just the result of soupy mud + hot exhaust.

The end result of my afternoon. Not bad for a first time.

I loved the pics! Wish I could have been a spectator to that run. Thanks!
