Went out and ran Lockwood Miller jeep trail and boy was it fun

And me the only Jeep

Views of the trail

everything was going great and made great time finishing the first leg of the trail till the jeep started making a clanking noise so after much confusion and going over the whole jeep trying to find what is was we came to find that the little rubber gromet thing that is in the top of the left rear shock had tore and was giving it play so up the jeep went on the highlift and fixed it became, only to last for about 50 yards so we just went on to finish the whole trail with a annoying clank.

some pics resting before tackling miller

some of the cool trees and the creek

and the rest of the pics

and the best pic for last

A similar thing happened to me only with my front right shock. I later discovered that when I installed the lift two months before, I had put the metal washer on top of the top bushing upside down so it eventually ate through the bushing and I had the clacking noise. I ran the entire Sunflower Mine trail in Arizona with no problem but it was very annoying.

You can really hear it in this video taken from Sunflower:
