We spend lots of time looking for ghost towns and old mines. Looks like you found a head frame to an old mine. Thanks for sharing your pictures. It helps lessen my Cabin Fever.

Awesome Pics. I am right there with you on the high desert. I plan to do a few ghost town trip this sprint/fall. Maybe I will stumble across a few more good places.
I do enjoy the pine trees but unfortunately California has a monopoly on them.

Nice pics! My wife and I drove through Nevada going from the Salt Lake area to Lake Tahoe in the fall. I kept looking at all the mountains and wondering if there were Jeep trails through them. Now I know.

I've GOT to get back there.

Photo's like these are the reason I read this forum. I was so happy when they made the trails and tales section because the driveway shots and pointless rock flexing pictures were getting old. Nice job!
