-12 or + 18 Offset ???
Quick question for the members, I have a 2017 JKU all stock. I'm putting a leveling kit on, have tires and wheels on order. I'm second guessing my choice on offset/back spacing.
The tires are 285/75/17 Nitto Ridge Grappler and wheels are "XD" Machete with a -12 degree off set (4.5 back space) I'm wondering if I can use a wheel with +18 degree offset
(5.7" back space) according to rimsntires.com both should work. -12 will stick out approx. 3" farther and +18 will srick out approx 1.6" .
Anyone have personal experience with this set up or a for sure answer. The Jeep is a pavement pounder, wife just wants a better look.
Thanks in advance

check this wheel offset calculator https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/
my guess is you'd get a bit of rub at full turn but probably not a big deal. I think you'd get a better look pushing them out further with the -12 mm offset though.
