2021 Rubicom Wheels and Tires on a 2017 2D JK
On Facebook marketplace there is a set of BFG KO2s that come OEM on 2021 Rubicon’s that i am looking to put on my stock 2017 JK 2 door . I have multiple questions so I’ll just list them below.
specs vvvv17inch wheels with BFGoodrich Baja Champion All-Terrain T/A KO2, LT285/70R17, load range C.
1: will there be any rubbing?
2: what is the backspacing/offset for OEM rubicon’s ?
3: will i need a higher offset or spacers in order to do light off-roading and not messing up the fenders?
4: they do not have the tire pressure sensors, do the JK sensors i have now work with them as a 1for1 swap?
5: will they bolt up without issues?
6: has anyone ever done this?
7: what is a reasonable price to pay for these?
thanks in advance!

Welcome to JKF..
1. possibly as the tires are between 32 and 33 in diameter. 2. There might be more backspace which pushes the wheels out farther. 3. Unknown; however the taller/wider tire could rub the fender, probably no damage just noise. 4. Your TPMS should work. 4. You must use YOUR Lug Nuts, or the same standard thread size. JL have metric. 6. I haven't. 7. What is the asking price- what tread depth is left - any rash on the wheels? Reasonable is defined by the mindseye.

Hey there Preston: I have a 2008 JK Sport/6 speed and also put on Rubicon takeoff wheels/tires. Mine are off a Rubicon Terminator. On my stock height jeep I needed to add spacers to set the wheels/tires away from the body to eliminate rubbing on the brake lines and front sway bar.
These wheels/tires were new take offs, but because they were off a Terminator, there were 4 aluminum and 1 steel wheel. That being said I got them at a very reasonable price, negotiated to $650.00 delivered to my door. Use your JK lug nuts. Good luck
