Default 35" tires and wheels cost.

There is an app to tell you when you've paid too much for a car. I'm curious about tires and wheels. Seems like everyone is out with one deal or another. I have had estimates as high as $4,100 and as low as $2,200. Looking for comments on main commercial chains only.

What did u pay for 5 35" tires and wheels. All in. On the jeep.

Place, cost, tire brand, wheel descrip.

I paid about $1800 for 5 35x12.5x17 Nitto Trail Grapplers when I was in Florida, June 2014. I went with a locally owned mom and pop shop. Then last summer SWMBO authorized the purchase of my 17x9 ATX slabs which I purchased from NR4x4 package deal buy 4 get the 5th free.

Try this. Might not have the wheels you want but you can get an idea.

DO NOT BUY FROM TIRERACK.COM!

They will tell you you are getting full road hazard, but when you try to make a claim they tell you that if you dig through the warranty and road hazard info on the site they actually do not honor any road hazard coverage for LT tires in metric or floatation sizes, if the tire size starts with LT, you are on your own.

Ask me how I found out. Screw those guys!

Unless you are looking for the exact tire/wheel package as one of us, the prices really don't matter. Not really a fair comparison when one person is posting a $900 quote (five $60 15" steel rims and $150 tires) and another has a $4000+ quote for beadlocks and any of the more expensive tires out there. Probably better off looking at any of the previous threads asking which companies people are buying from, or threads devoted to whatever specific tire or rim you are interested in.

For companies, try Discount Tire and their online entity, Discount Tire Direct. You can PM Discount Tire Direct through the site if you want. Check the prices online through their respective websites, but talking to them will get you a price match and a forum discount, and generally they have other discounts as well. I have not ordered any for shipping as I prefer to deal locally, but have used their nearest shops for my last couple sets of rims and tires. They price matched and gave me the 3 online discounts on top (for the forum, a set of tires, and a set of rims). If nothing else, you can use their quote for price matching with another company.

Just saw the post above mine. I warranted two out of the five tires in my last set, and three of the five in the set before that. No issues, they just verified the certificates and ordered.
