Bead lock rim width question

I currently have cooper STT's 37x13.5 on 8.5x17 wheels. I am planning on moving to beadlocks but not sure if I should go a little wider on rim. Cooper lists the approved rim width as 8.5-11. Thanks in advance

The most common thing you're going to find IMO is 17x9 wheels, and that is what I would do.....with 3.5" BS.

yup ive been running 40x13.5x17 tires on 17x9 beadlocks for many years, no issues.
