I'm hoping that there's been some type of update in terms of tire wear as well as more snow and ice performance since your last post! I am right between getting either this mud terrain or the AT version of the same tire!

The only things holding me back from pulling the trigger is snow and ice performance (since Im in Colorado) as well as the tread wear

Any news would be great

Cheers
Super late response, but they have done well in the little bit of snow and ice we get here in Tennessee. We had 9" of snow over the winter and they did great. I think the tighter tread pattern in the middle of the tire helps with snow and ice as they allow more contact with the road than many other traditional mud tires. They were decent on ice but good as far as MT's go. I always try to drive these surfaces in 2WD to get a better idea of the actual tire performance. As far as treat wear I am very happy, I have rotated them once and they are still rolling smooth with very little wear.

I'm concerned about the mounted on the Jeep actual size, I'm a little gun shy about ordering 37's because of the KM3's I bought are only 35.5" under the Jeep and look small. Can you confirm actual height so I can get a bigger tire than what I already have?
Great looking Jeep by the way!!!
Sorry for the late response. The tires are around 36" under the full weight of the Jeep at 28 psi. The BFG mud terrains have always been known to run smaller than the others but pretty much all of them will be under the advertised size when mounted but keep in mind there are a lot of factors like vehicle weight, wheel width, and tire psi. My jeep is definitely on the heavy side.

I'm glad you are having a great experience with these tires, and I agree with everything you mentioned. These might be the best looking MT on the market and they perform very well on and off road. I remember running Mickey Thompson MT's back in the late 90's and early 2000's and the tires looked great but the rubber compound was very soft and they wore out quickly. The Baja Boss look like they are going to give really good mileage.

Long overdue update on the Baja Boss MT tires. They have been an excellent tire and have held up great. Very little noticeable wear and no chunking or uneven wear whatsoever. They still ride very smoothly and haven't really become much louder. I would highly recommend this tire to anyone in the market and have to put it up there with the best all around mud tires on the market past and present after owning a bunch of them over the years.
