Nexen Roadian Ra8 tires
I just bought a 2013 Unlimited Sport with a new set of Nexen Roadian Ra8 tires on it. Today while doing some very light wheeling, a rock punctured the sidewalk of one of my tires. The rock was triangular and not as big as a quarter and maybe a 1/4” thick. Not exactly a boulder. Lol. The sidewall on these tires seem very thin. Anyone else had these tires? Triying to decide if I want to find another Nexen or swap out to either BFG’s or Goodyear. I don’t do a ton of off-roading, but I want to have some confidence in my tires when I do. Thanks.

They are a price point tire. As you found out, with tires you usually get what you pay for. BFG and Goodyear are good choices, but I think Toyo/Nitto tires are higher quality and usually a little less expensive.
