Perfect tire and size for stock gearing. I have a blast in mud with these tires. Almost two years and still lots of tread. Would recommend airing down to less than 30 psi for longer tread life and wear.

More pictures of the AT3, there isn't too much on here about them but I think they are great tires. Have had a few sets on different trucks now.
I have them, but wheel spacers are not necessary to run these. Every 285 tire mfg is different....
No noticeable driving (power) difference, 2011 JKU, 6 speed, 3.73 gears. If anything, this tire size makes 1st gear far more usable on the street.

I agree the cooper AT3s are an excellent tire. I have had them on my Chevy Silverado for about 18 months and they ride and wear great. They have a nice semi-aggressive tread and are quiet.
I also plan to put them on my Rubi takeoffs for winter wheels, they will be better on snow and ice up here in Ohio in the winter.
I run Mud Terrains in the summer on AEV Savegre wheels.
It's nice to know that the 33" AT3s won't rub. I didn't want to install spacers for the stock "winter" wheels.
Thanks for the info and pics.
