Took it off with fishing line, then put double sided tape. The used a razor blade to trim the tape around the letters. Then I painted the hole thing black and then used a very small amount of clear spraying from a distance so it isn't shinny. Then peel and put back on with something to line it up where it was. It is kinda a pain to clean up the tape left over when you take it off. but goo gone or tar remover works. Make sure to paint it with the double sided tape put on the back or there will be a white out line from the tape.
