Quick question, about to order my 35s....who has the spare mounted on the stock carrier? Any issues? I have aftermarket wheels, 18x9 -12... My research shows 50/50 but I'd like some recent opinions. I read adding a lower bumpstop will help with downward torque and relieve stress.

I only have my 35s a couple months but I imagine in time it'll be an issue. The tire is heavy on the door. I have the Sahara so the decorative plastic over the bumper fits sniffly under the 35s. Supports it a bit I'm sure. Eventually when my wallet fills up I'll look into a new bumper with tire carrier.

I have a Sahara as well, I aldi read about the bumper taking some of the load. I only plan on using the stock carrier for a few months.
