wheels and tires
I want new wheels and tires but don't know what to get. I hear if you get 15" wheels you need to shave your brake caliper? Is this true? So I'm thinking 15s with 35s out 17s with 33s. Opinions please. I have a 2.5 lift.

I have 2.4" lift with 35's and love it no problems

There is info on here about fitting fifteens and which ones will fit. Long story short is that some do, some don't, and some will with some clearancing. With that being said, seventeens will offer more options for 35's and definitely easier to have them and larger readily available

I have 15inch steels. 4 inch back space. No rubbing and clear calibers no problem

I'm against spacers. People say they work, and then there are the horror stories about spacers. The reason I'm getting wheels is to eliminate the space idea. Has anyone with 15s had to do anything with your brake calipers. 15s are cheaper, but I'm also concerned about the sidewall on the tires with 35s.

I have 15" Level 8 Tracker Aluminum wheels and have no clearance issues at all.

If you can avoid spacers please do. I had them and couldnt stand them.

I have 15 inch arc slots and had no problems and I run a 35x13.50 Toyo. The guy at tread depot told me anything with 3.75 or less bs wouldn't rub the caliper.

I also running 15" Level 8 trackers no issues at all. Look at discount tire direct, they have the rims that will fit and awesome prices, they are on the forum here as well and have very good customer service.
