I run 15 inch cragar steels with 35 km2s on my 07 Sahara unlimited and I had to grind my front calipers a bit. Less rim to damage and more tire to grip = win. Cheaper tires a bonus too

quick question...Will 325/65 r18 fit on sahara rims?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a narrower tire but still 35" tall? Not really wanting to buy spacers....

Sorry in advance if this has been answered on another thread...so many to look through! Thanks

Have you seen 15 inch rims first hand in a jk or jku.??? IMO, the rim looks way too small on the massive jk. Just doesn't look right. I know all about the reasons to run smaller rims, but I believe that given the tire size you plan to run, you can get the same benefits from 17 inch rims without the weird look.

I don't think they look weird at all, I get comments made in them all the time.
Some 15" wheels do require shaving the calipers on the front. Mine did and it took me 15 min with a grinder and a rattle can.

I think 15" wheels look really good on a JK. I've gotten a lot of compliments on mine...

When I bought new wheels and tires for my JK I wish I went with 15 inch rims. Discount Tire have 15 inch rims made for the JK that if I remember correctly will clear the caliper without any grinding. I also like the look of 15 inch rims with the bigger tire.

To us older folks it's the big *ss wheels that look weird. Back in the day there were only 2 common sizes of truck wheels 15 and 16.5. So I personally like the look of 15" wheels and 37s. 18" and bigger just don't look right. I currently have 17" on 35 and not crazy about it.

I think its the other way around. The tires look way to small on our shoe box.. 15 inch rims with 33+ tires is the way to gp

Agreed. The tires in my pic above are 33" Duratracs, but I'll be replacing them next year with some 35" (brand/model TBD). Too much wheel and too little tire looks funny on an off-road vehicle IMO.

Well, it was just my opinion. Although I must admit that I also find anything over 18 inch wheel to look equally as weird as 15 inch. 15 inch is ok on the jk, but the JKU looks ridiculous with 15s. I think 17s are a perfect balance of tire to rim ratio with 33 inch and up on a slightly lifted jku.... but it is just my opinion...
