I just started working on this tonight myself, Got a sheet of Aluminum from Lowes, but not the gutter guard people are using. I bought a sheet that you use at the bottom of your house door and cut it apart. Spraying it down with Satin Black Rustoleum ATM. I looked at 4 different places in town to get the little zip tie connectors, but couldn't find them anywhere. Guess I will be looking for them online to finish or going the epoxy route.

Will get some of my pictures up once it is truly a finished mod.

You can get the zip blocks at home depot, they are back with all the wire connectors.

Cannot Believe I didn't Check there! Here is who didn't have them: Oreilly's, Autozone, Hobby Lobby, Lowe's, Walmart. Hopefully that can save some other people time when they go looking for them. I will check Home Depot first thing tomorrow. =)

Just did mine with Gutter guard and looks great - I did get mounting blocks from Lowes. If you ask them for some reason, most have no idea what they are.

Yeah the 2 people I talked to really had no idea what I was talking about at all, so I had to show them a picture on my phone. Their response was, "If we had them they would be next to the Zip Ties". Obviously they were not at the Lowe's here in town or I couldn't find them. =D
