Default '12 JKU - Adding Power Locks

Hey everyone, hope I'm in the right sub forum.

I didn't think it was a big deal, but the JKU w/o power locks and having kids isn't so great.

So, I'm looking to add Power Locks, while I'm at it I figured I'd go for keyless entry and remote start. Hoping to find the right alarm that will provide this.

Any suggestions?

From what I'm reading, most say the cheapo actuators from ebay are not great and not doable for the rear doors.

I did see the A1 kit; but I'm still not sure if this will fit the 2012 JKU?

I'm pretty good with instructions, hoping to do it myself - so any tips from guys or gals that have done it... Shoot'em my way.

[Note - lots of my searching showed JKU, with a different interior so not sure if my 2012 JKU is the same inside the door panels? THANKS again.]

Thanks for taking the time to help me out!

did the same thing! Viper has a real good Alarm with remote start and paging system, works awesome! power door locks you can get from pep boys for about 20 bucks, or when you have the alarm installed have them do the locks at the same time.. Might be kinda expensive but well with it

I did my power door locks its very easy the back doors the actuator is tight just need to find the right placement.. I had the alarm installed didn't want to mess with the remote start wiring..
