8 Trailer Tongue Holder for 24 bucks!!
Ok - So not really a JK MOD -- more like a MOD for a mess in the garage.
I don't know about you guys, but over the years I have collected a lot of trailer tongues used for several different trailers and truck heights.
I was getting sick of all these collecting under the tool bench -- so I fixed it for about 24 bucks at the home depot.
I picked up 2 pieces of angle iron, 36 inches long (doubled depth on one side - see pic). I lined them up and put 4 - 2.5 inch bolts into the wall, of course into a stud. I ran 4 pieces of 3/8ths inch threaded rod trough the holes spread out about 8 or 9 inches apart. Used 4 nuts per rod to give it strength and hold it together.
The nice part is that I didn't have to cut anything - just bolt it all together.
The way its set up, it will hold 8 hitch tongues with enough space for some chain and other extra parts.
Whatcha think??
