Default Angry Headlights

Alright guys, I've been getting too many PMs and complements on my headlights.

Sorry for not having pics as of right now but something is better then nothing

anyways, what I did was Purchase a set of Delta Quad Headlights (which they suck in my opinion) but they look good.

and before installing them I got vinyl from a local RC store. It's not a see through not even with light. so make sure to get something in those lines.

Warning

This will cut down on your light pattern. Although this is not true on my Jeep but it could do it on yours. do it at your on risk. I'm not responsible if you can't see

note that my headlights are flat! the factory ones have a curve in them. so results may vary depending on your headlights. I don't know about the new IPF headlights that the Project-JK team is sporting.

there is to ways to install the Vinyl

the easy was is just to put them on the lights.

the hard way is to take the lights out, and to do so you will need to:

1- Open hood.
2- Remove the plastic push pins holding the top of the grill in place. I used a flat head screw driver to get them out.
**note if you don't want to break them, you want to be really careful or you might break them. ask me how I know
3- once the top pins are out, pull the bottom of the grill out as it's held by clips. again be carful doing so, you might break the grill or the clips if your not careful.
4- with a T-15 screw driver, Remove all bolts holding the light in place.
5- unplug it

to put it back together do the opposite

I wil update this thread with closeup pics

hope this helps

Hey you could flip them around for that confused or worried look. Like "Hey why are my headlights so crappy?".

Nice job, looks great.

Can you flip them outwards when the Jeep is surprised?
