another $30 home CAI
$26 intake (91-96 for 91-98 Civic) off of ebay.
$5 plactic trash can.
$.97 1/2" pipe insulation.
Just patiently cut and fit, cut and fit, cut and fit ect...
The vacuum line that was included w/ the intake made a perfect
seal for the intake tube. had to tap a hole for the air sensor, but all
in all pretty easy.
Noticeable power increase and sounds awesome.

I wonder if there is the proper amount of air / fuel mixture to actually increase performance! What does it sound like? Sorry but are you running a Jeeponda?

It works great and there are no probablems at all. 
I cannot give you dyno results, however big brand name CAI’s claim 7-15 hp and
14-25 ft/lbs. My setup definitely falls in that range, but that is not really my concern.
The engine at full throttle now comes alive at 1800rpm and continues to pull through-
out the power band. Driving is a good deal more enjoyable.
In town shifting the 6-speed from light to light is now fun, and interstate / hwy
merging and passing is more effortless. At part throttle you can’t tell it’s there,
but step on it and you get a smooth deep throaty sound.
The intake tube is the same diameter and an inch or two longer than the $250
version, so I, be willing to bet that I am flowing the same amount of “Dyno tested, CNC,
Mandrel-Bent” air as the more expensive ones.
As far as the fuel mixture… pretty sure that’s up to the computer and engine to work out.
The Idea is merely to supply a cooler more dense chagre of unrestricted air to create a
more effective air fuel mixture.

Looks good, just stay away from puddles, there were 2 more hydrolocks this past weekend, one in FL and one in CO both with cai.
Looks like you could use a pool noodle instead or pipe insul. to color match jeep
