Default Another REALLY Easy Garage Door Opener Install

I noticed my opener button was the exact same size as the screw hole on the windshield trim, so....

-I removed the sunvisor with a T20 screwdriver ( I could not get the entire trim off, so I just pulled back on it)

-Added Velcro to front side of Garage Door Opener and back side of trim, just below the top bolt hole.

-Positioned Opener & re-installed trim/visor.

I hope these pics are attached correctly.

With the high position mount there are no problems with transmitter distance.

Changing the battery will be a pain.

Very cool. I have the exact same opener. I'm already doing the "in the rollbar pad" mod. I wonder if I should switch. I think I might paint the buton dark grey. It would look stock.

Great Idea about the paint. I guess I'll be pulling it off again tonight.

Does anyone know how to get that screw below out? I turned & turned but it didn't seem to do anything.

I moved mine from the roll bar to make it easier on my wife.

Nice. I may do this as I have the same exact opener too. How secure is it in there? Like is it going to fall down or bounce out of place while offroading?

Great hiding spot.
