Looks cool up there but I just ended up putting in LED switches on the speaker panel to the left of the steering wheel (upper left corner)...made wire access a snap and they are out of the way. I wouldn't be able to do this mod anyway because I have my rear view mirror "rotated" upside down...it gives you about 3" more visibility thru your windshield (beneath the rear view mirror) if you're tall or just sit high in your seat...which I do.

That looks really good. I don't mean to hijack but I liked this idea so much I took it one step further.

I got this switch box from ShowMe. It has 4 switches each with a 20amp relay for $40. It's mounted to the header with a 1 1/2" bolt and nut with a rubber grommet for vibration. Good quality too.

Hey anybody have an update on this? A few of you said you wanted to do it and im hopin gyou did!

One guys mentioned having two daystar pods up there which is what i want to do. Anybody done this? I see two clips on the back side of the molding... will these be in the way? Anybody have any more pictures of this??

Those are real space saver attachments and , since our dash's don't really have any obvious room, thats a good spot for the switchs

However, since I have my CB there and the Sports cage, I put my toggle sws on the overhead

They're outta the way and can be activated without looking

looks really good i leave my top off to much and was going to mount there but worried about that being first place to get wet however looks great
