Auxiliary cable solution
For those that don't have the time or want to put all their music on the MyGiG hard drive and have the AUX input on the front of their system, I came up with a way to keep the auxiliary cable neat and tidy while connected or disconnected from their iPod or iPhone or maybe some other auxiliary device. All you'll need are two zip ties, and an auxiliary cable (which you probably already have if you're interested in this). I apologize for the picture quality, but all I had on me was my iPhone.
First I just plugged in the auxiliary cable into the port on the front of the myGiG and into my phone which I usually keep in the cupholder. Then I just ran the slack down the little gutter between the dash panel, and the console, following the shape. Once I got to the bottom, I just tucked the wire under the carpet and center console. You can just push it under with your fingers until I got near the cupholders.
Sorry the picture is sideways. And it also got dark before I was able to take more than this picture.

And this worked fine. But then I needed a solution on how to deal with the dangling aux jacks when I wanted to listen to the radio and take my phone out. Firstly, for the aux jack on the myGig, I took a zip tie, and tied it down to about the circumference of the widest part of the jack. Cut the zip tie down a bit and bent it. The bend makes it think enough to insert into the gutter between the myGIG dash panel and the console on the side.

Then down by the cupholder, I pulled out the rubber cupholder inserts, and placed the ziptie down into the hole, where the cupholder insert goes. Put the cupholder inserts back for a tight fit. Here's the finished result.

I probably could've written this better but it's really simple once you get into it. It took all of 5 minutes to do and it's super cheap. Hope this helps!

i think ill do this with mine as well except drill a small hole in the plastic next to the cupholder and route the wire totally internal and have it pop up next to the cupholder. ill post pics if i get a chance to do it. the picture i have in my head would look really clean. only problem is the aux jack in the front of the mygig. WHAT TO DO WITH THAT?
