Mine is a pretty early model one, like I said though, I could be wrong, but it did look like a glue not a corrosion....either way it didnt do a very good job as they pulled right off with minimal resistance.

Keep us informed how it holds up. It sure changes the appearance adding small black detailing like that, I like it!

So far so good, I took it through some mud and they got hammered with rocks and good to go....

1- did you take both parts of the hinges off?
2- did the bolts give you any trouble when putting back on, like peeling or wrench or torx not wanting to fit?
3- how long did you wait to remount?
4- did you do the back side to any parts?

1. yes
2. nope
3. 2.5 days
4. only partially on some parts that show both sides

My hinges are destroyed from rocks especially from no fender flares!! Did you just rough up or sandblast the hinges before spraying them?? Great thread.....

Ya I sandblasted them. You could do it by hand though if so inclined.The Bedliner sticks really well.
