I've read most of the threads, any real good advice or customization i should try?

 

Wrap it with some kind of cloth. I cut up and stapled an old moving blanket.

Try nematic casters that have a lock.

You've probably already built but I had home depot cut all of the lumber to length even though I have a table saw etc. Saved me quite a bit of time. Otherwise of was super easy. I also covered contact points with pieces of a grooved rubber floor runner.
