Default Cabin Air Filter

How many of you have been greeted by a blast of dust when you hit the A/C after playing on a dirt road? with this cheap fix, that will be a memory of the past.

You will need some magnetic sign material (from any sign shop), an air filter to match your opening in the grill and some silicon.

Cut a hole in the magnetic sign material smaller than the size of the filter you buy.

Silicon away....

Install for the trail, throw it in your tool bag for the highway. it works great!

That's a great idea, especially for those dusty areas. 2 thumbs up!

natural glue
you set up traps for hairy lizzards or gnomes depending on location
then you grind them up (they get real sticky)
spread evenly let dry

Great idea, but use a tupperware canister to put the filter into so the air flows the correct way and is also replaceable. (cutting out the obvious necessary holes)

good idea, I actualy thought of using the magnetic sign material to keep ice from filling up under the cowl and freezing up the wiper gears and motor
