Hah, hah, I had the same experience. The Jeep dealer parts guy had never heard of cabin air filters for any year Wrangler. He checked and double checked his computer system and said there was no such thing.

After hours of searching the internet and internet forums, I did find the part number on one of the forum threads (can't remember which one now), and gave him the part number.

He was quite surprised that I had found the number, and he was then able to order. I would guess that right now, it is so new, it is not in the system yet. Probably will be readily available in their system in a few months.

Thanks to everybody for all the "thank you's" on my write-up.

Mabar

My 2011 is my first Jeep so when I had the glove box out the other day and saw the filter; I didn't think much about it. Nice write up.

Ordered mine. Here is the website if you don't want to go to the dealership.

Thumbs up

Nice write up. We have a lot of fires in North Florida so it's definately nice having the filters installed. Cheers!

Does anyone know if there is a recommended replacement interval for these filters?

I guess it depends on how much dusty, dirt road driving you do. I checked mine at about 15,000 miles and they were quite dirty.

They are so inexpensive, that I think I will replace mine more often.

Mabar.
