in addition to the wheelers, people who are in wheelchairs could use that. as long as they have a brake line installed too.. lol

Been gathering all the misc parts to put this together for a while now.. Got out in the driveway today to put it all together today..

Didn't work to well.. There's enough tension on the pedal that it won't pull in, but instead there's enough leverage that the noodle bends forward out of it's bracket towards the pedal.. Only option is to secure the noodle closer towards the exit end and prevent movement.. This of course will prevent it from flopping over to the side and will get in the way of the normal pedal movement.

OK.. Finally got it all set up and working.. Takes 5 clicks before things start to happen (yes the cable has good tension), there's just so much play on the top end of the peddle that nothing happens until then. Then all of a sudden you've got 1700rpm.. Nothing in between.. Will take a bit of getting used to compared to the TJ setup.. I started out trying to set the noddle on top of the carpet. That's what was letting things bend to much on the noodle.. Moved it under the carpet and brought the end of it and the cable through a hole sliced in the carpet..

I used a lawn mower cable as a ghetto cruise control on my old CJ-5, worked great on flat terrain. Also was a big help when winching and trying to operate all 3 pedals at the same time. Definately something for the experienced driver though.

Using the high idle setting with the pro cal would accomplish the same thing. You control the rpm up to 2000rpms with the delay wiper function. It would continuously hold at up to 2000rpms for up to 10 mins. Of course this may or may not be enough RPMs depending on what gears you have.
