OK so I'm starting a different thread on these. I'm going to give these tires a try. From what ive read both have a 3 ply sidewalls . Question is which size.

I have five (5) of these waiting to go on my JKU in my garage on Slabs.

 

You'll notice that extra width when you're steering. I'd stick with the 12.5" unless you've got something to prove or you need the extra grip in a tough spot.

 

No, nothing to prove. Just didn't know if the little extra width would be good for a 10" wide wheel

 

I still have a 2 or 3 weeks before I get my wheels.
Post up a pic when you get them mounted.

 

I'll grab a picture of the 13.5" on a 9" wheel, it's just a lot of extra rubber to move if you don't "need" it. I've also run many sets of 10.5" tires on 10" wheels, if you're concerned about aesthetics.

 

I just didn't know about wheeling in the rocks. Seems like the wider tire could help keep my wheels from some contact. Not a big deal.

Ordered 37/12.50/17 Cooper STT PRO last night. Had a little leap year sale with discount tire.
Got all 5 for $304.11 each with free shipping.
And I opted for tire hazard insurance, 41 bucks a tire.
I asked if it covered offroading in the rocks, ect......
Guy said if the rocks slash the tire where it can't be fixed, then you get a new tire, no prorated stuff.

So sadly my tires will be here before the wheels.
