Well I finally got around to putting in the correct seals so I could install my Superior axle shafts. They use a Spicer# 43116 seal that is also the same seal that serves as the inner seal in the earlier Jeep Dana 30's. To do this I needed some information from several different places. I thought it might be nice to post a thread here giving the links to all the info you need to replace the front axle shafts or seals. Here's a very good write up on seals/axles on a D44 written by a very intelligent fellow.
https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...ight=axle+seal I think you'll find it will also work for a D30 (except it'll be a little simpler.) And here are two links with most of the torque specs you will ever need:

Hope this helps out a fellow JK'er or two.
Cheers
