Default Decal Removal w/ Video

Hey guys,

I know there are tons of posts with guys telling you how to remove the decals on a JK, but No real visual aids.

To make it easy for everyone, I have made a decal removal video to help the more visual learners of the group.

Materials:
Plexi/plastic Scraper
Goo Gone
Paper Towels
heat gun/Hair dryer

Thanks for taking the time to do this. I personally won't be removing the decals but your effort is applauded.

I wish more people to the time to do this...especially for the more difficult or complex wiring mods that are out there. I mean seriously...its the black wire on the marker light and the white wire farthest away from the black wire on the turn signal light people!! Just kidding!!

One suggestion would be to replace the paper towel with a microfiber towel. I think a paper towel could leave swirl marks in the paint.

Yea you could, just use soft stuff i am sure it should be fine. Don't use the actually like crappy industrial paper towel that's extremely coarse.

Im putting together a few more cheap simple ones.

Wait until summer picks up and some cash flows in, the mods will begin and the videos will continue.

Thanks for taking the time to do the video. I've been wondering what the easiest way to do this was. Seems like I found it!

Great Video. I probably will plan on using a microfiber cloth just to be safe
