Made this out of spare wood and parts at my pops house. Zero dollars, but thanks for the plans, worked out great!

I cant tell from pics does the top sit in front of the 2x4 or does it sit a little on top of it??

I sat mine in front so the lip held it on the cart and used a big rubber strap to hold it on (not pictured).

im also wondering what chad asked. If you sit it in front of the lip shouldnt that part also be carpeted/padded and if you sit it on the lip wouldnt you need blocks to prevent it from going forward? also do the 6" 2x4 sit on the hinges, above them or inside of the two

Thanks so much for this thread. I wasn't comfortable leaving my hard top up near ceiling, so I knocked this out tonight for $38 in about an hour and10 min.

Another thanks from me. Didn't get any pics as I was to exited to get my soft top on lol. I also built myself a door cart using a furniture cart and some pvc. Much easier than carrying then in 1 by 1.
