interesting. So you still use 2 ppl to take it off? What does a 4dr hard top weigh?

Switched from the hard top to the soft top for summer today...thought I'd post pics of my cart. wrapped in black carpet and has locking casters.

Great write-up! Built this last night. Notice I put a 'brace' on the window support. Now since I have yet to try this out, wondering if that brace needs the flex. Guess ill find out soon enough. Once I get the top on it, I'll add some eye hooks for a strap.

YES, 2 x 6" blocks. 3 is not required.

This write up is great! I built the dollie today and will load the top on it tomorrow. I modified the design slightly by only using 2 6inch pieces instead of 3. I read in another thread that the top will sit more vertical that way.

Built mine from this thread...but feared i may somehow tilt it over so i built folding tower supports....

Looks good. I plan on drawing one up this weekend. Thank you guys for sharing. My hardtop is sitting on the floor of my garage with spider webs and dead bugs all underneath it. Damn summer bugs. This cart will get it off the floor and will be easier to move around.
