While off-roading I crushed mine into a whistle off a rock. So off it went, never to be replaced.

I was thinking about hacking it off almost right at the muffler on my four door. You guys think it will smell like gas in the cab?

Texas Law.
20.15 Exhaust System. Every motor vehicle shall at all times be equipped with muffler in good working order and in constant operation.

Muffler defined: Muffler is a device consisting of a series of chambers or baffle plates or other mechanical design for the purpose of receiving exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine and/or turbine wheels for the purpose of receiving exhaust gas from a diesel engine, both of which are effective in reducing noise.

Dude I ran with no muffler on my Ford f150 for 2 years no issues...unless you are driving with no cats I doubt you will get pulled over....and I live in Texas lol....unless your driving through neighborhoods with it in 1st or 2nd and just runnin the rpms super high....I highly highly highly doubt you will get any issues from cops

Recently did this. Hated it. The sound it makes is very nice but it's too damn loud. Put the muffler back on 20 min later. Ordering mbrp cat back soon. Ugh.
