Default Door pocket mod

well I searched and I didnt find anything for this, I finally washed my interior today and had to get the sand and mud out of my door pockets, well all they would do is fill up with water. this will help if your jeep gets caught in the rain too without your top or windows down while parked

Not anymore

Good idea. Does any of the drain water get into the door?
I am surprised this wasn't done at the factory.

just did it today, filled them with water and didnt see any water come out of the door holes, so I dont think so, that or not enough to drain from the door, hmm maybe I'll pull panel off tomorrow to see what the back of that looks like

doors definitely have drains

Damn late nighters. Beat me to it Toad!

Is the door pocket 2 walls thick? If so, would going from the bottom side be any better?

Either way, any water that gets due the top being off in the rain will put MORE water into the floor. Maybe no big deal...

I do believe it is 2 separate walls, I was hoping it was solid all the way thru, no biggie though because where ever else the water goes there are drain holes specially the floor
