Sounds like another serious case of "trypophobia". Better have that checked out.

The v-notch isn't going to do crap. If you want to get to the water you need to cut through the gasket. But now you've compromised the purpose of the gasket in the first place, to keep the water from seeping into your doors.

You go ahead and cut your gasket and let the water dribble down your Jeep all day. I choose to have mine pee like a real man!

If this mod is difficult for you to do, wait till you try the grab handle mod. You have to take a perfectly good handle and make two holes in it. Some even pound in a grommet!

Drilling holes in the mirrors is a true sign that you are a JK-Forum member. Any one can put a sticker on their JK, but only a true member would drill the mirrors. It is a sign of authentication.

Question Mopar

Has this issue ever been addressed by Jeep? If not, how may we contact Jeep?

Sorry, if this is a repeat posting.

Because drilling is a lot easier than ripping the mirror off! 2 seconds with a drill and you're done... No Joke.

I did mine... 1 week after I bought her. I felt so accomplished, and was shocked when I pulled the bit out to see a stead stream of water come out!
