Default Engine coolant 50/50?

I noticed the other day at 16,000 miles my engine coolant reservoir showed below the min. I went to the jeep dealership and bought the antifreeze/engine coolant. The guy said I didn't need to use 50% water and 50% antifreeze. However, all of the forums I found and websites say to use a 50/50 ratio. Thoughts?

If your bottle says coolant then yes, mix it 50/50 when you add it in (distilled water obviously).

I don't recall seeing pre-mixed antifreeze at the dealer but I could be wrong.

I did not see a pre mix at the dealer either, had to mix myself....you can adjust your ratio if needed..... 60 coolant / 50 water for areas that require that. I did 50/50 myself

Most important is to use the correct coolant type for your year!!!!!!

Just tweaking the ratio a bit helps particularly one the nights you have to park outside.

Yeah, I was just wondering how to mix a 60/50 ratio.
