factory or aftermarket hard top
So i am ordering my 2015 jeep wrangler while stationed over seas and am stuck in a pickle. I'm trying to decided if i should get the soft top and hard top combo package or should i just get the soft top and purchase the hard top later?
Anyone have any suggestions?

Personally I would go for the factory hardtop that way you will get the necessary wiring and controls, factory warranty and if its a painted top the color will match.

If it was me, I'd order it with the hard top and then pick up a soft top from Craigslist. Around here, brand new soft tops go for around $500 and there are a bunch of them.

Yup. That's what I did. Also, I have heard that to install the switches for the rear wiper/washer runs about $300.

I gotta say +1 to Deke. I ordered with the hardtop and got a nearly new factory soft top on Craigslist for $300. If you go this route make sure you get every part. That includes the door surrounds and the rear window hold downs. I have an 08 top on my 14 and it all fits and works great. You will have to order the Softtop attachment points that attach to your roll bar and are the pivot points for your soft top bow. About $50 on ebay. See if you can get the seller to throw those in!
