Default a few of my home made mods.

well i thought it would be nice to show a few of my home made stuff.

lets start with the front mudguards. i bought a big rubber mudguard made for big rigs or something big for sure. i cut it in half and adjust the contour so it fits inside the fender.( i hope i am clear ) well i kinda forgot to take picture of that process but i have the final result. i made sure to fix it with aluminum pop rivet and aluminum washers. everything is perfect. it keeps the mud and little rocks of sandblasting my rockers and keep my doors cleaner. i did not manage to rip it off will doing mud trails... so far so good. here are the pic.

ok so next is the front oem fog lights. i pick the idea from some one here a few months ago. take the original fog lights and put it inside a pvc pipe... hahaha i still think it looks a little low budget but not ugly. i glued the light inside the pve pipe and put a abs cover in the back, everything glued. for bracket a L shaped peace of metal from home depot . in fact everything is from home depot. sand all the little thing poping out and paint black. and voila ! ahhhahahah

here are the pics.

Do you have a picture with the entire jeep in it so we can view your modifications in all their glory?

and a few more things. my rear to front mudguards .. it protects the front of the rear rocker part... you will see. it keeps the crap from entering the hole at the end of the rocker and keep rust away a little more. this one is ugly but efficient. i will remake it next summer.

second picture is a super cheap rubber floor mat that i cut in circle shape and put inside the wheel to cover the hub from salt and mud . i am not sure if its gonna work fine so i only put one on one side. ( i have wheel adaters so the hub is farder inside the wheel.

and last but not least, is what i do best. it keeps us alive and happy. last picture will make you

well i made the wheel spin a lot in that mud by purpus. you know when you come back in the city full of mod and the look of the people looking at you its priceless

but seriously it works really well in normal driving. i did not had snow accumulation on my rockers or even on the frame all this winter. and trust me we have a lot of snow here . and snow = sand + salt = rust. i covered a lot of the jeep with fluidfilm and it works really well. specialy on the windshield bolts and the brackets that keep it up. its a really dangerous place for rust. i sprayed almost 1/4 of the can in that place to be sure its not gonna rust. there is no paint there !!!!!! only a thin primer spray.
